streaming raw data with images

Postby belion » 11 May 2011 13:25

Hello,

I would need to send additional data with my stream; for example, if I am streaming a video generated from a set of images, I would like to attach the geopositioning information of the image, so that the client can get this GPS data. Of course, the GPS data must be related to the image it belongs.

I am not sure if this information could be streamed as an independent synchronized stream, or if it can be somehow embedded in the original stream.

Any clue?

Thank you

Almost anything is possible if someone writes the code.

Does this cryptic answer means that it is not currently supported by VLC ?

Obviously not. I'm surprised you seem to expect that such a specialized use case would have been implemented.
