vlc is full screen only.

I just installed a new version after reformatting my hd. My problem is that when I open a file, it's full screen only, with my mouse and keyboard not working except to speed up and slow down the video. I seem to have the settings properly set unless there's one I'm missing

try hitting the f key to exit full screen.

also, try erasing your settings
