Too many slices, increase MAX_SLICES and recompile

Dear All,
I am using VLC player version 1.0.3 & 1.1.4 in widown XP environment (bellow mentioned problem is there on both the versions). To explain my setup, I am testing a Network camera with VLC player and there are connected via network. I am using RTSP protocol to connect from VLC player to Network Camera. After connection, Network camera streams H.264 (video) + G711 (Audio) in saparate RTP streams. The Video bit stream is 2Mbps & Audio is 64kbps. After few seconds VLC player throughs following error message. And video stops playing & sometime VLC player hangs. Can you please explain me the resoan & solution for this problem.

How many slices in the stream?

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean how many packets VLC player received from the Network camera? Is it measured in time?
