VLC OSD duration incorrect

Postby chris_hubball » 19 May 2005 22:56

When VLC is playing from a DVD or .vob file, the OSD duration seems to be incorrect. Typically, the value is around half of the real duration.

It appears to be some kind of time scaling issue because the progress bar does show the correct offset into the film, it is just the time that is wrong.

I'm running VLC 0.8.2 on linux 2.4.30 on a VIA EPIA-MII 12000 board.

That's a known issue, which is hard to fix actually. It might be solved in the furthcoming 0.8.2 release.
