Saving settings

Postby Viper5 » 04 Jan 2011 05:49

Is there a way to save settings. For instance, I use 5.1 audio and it gets old having to change it to 5.1 everytime I open up a file. Thanks in advance.

It is easier to change Windows audio settings. But you can also force it from VLC (if you use DirectX audio), Tools -> Preferences (Show settings: All) Audio -> Output modules -> DirectX and option called Speaker configuration.

Ah I see it now thank you. I thought I did have my windows set at 5.1 but it wasn't apparently. Also I forgot about that "ALL" button on the bottom there. Thanks for the help.
