Please help with "undf" file

Postby Daisy » 01 Dec 2010 10:39

Hello

I am trying to play a file that I have downloaded but I do get the message :"No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "undf". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this."

When I tried before to play the file in the Windows player it showed as an AVI file but would not play it either. Quicktime wouldn't play it as well.

Can anyone help me with that?

Cheers

VLC cannot identify the codec the file uses. You can use tool called Mediainfo to figure it out.

UNDF is an undefined file. This may be because it is corrupted, or it is still in the process of being downloaded, and therefore vital information is missing. It is not a file type.

I forgot to mention that I have heard that the freeware Wimpy FLV Player can handle "UNDF" files.
