I'am using Videolan to be able to serve and play Mostly divx between my Windows xp pro machine and my wife beautiful new 17ins g4 laptop running mac OS X

it works quite nice Thank you !
Sure beats the crappy quicktime which i still have to make work with a single divx (doctored or not by divx doctor. There is no sound or it just freeze.. But i digress..)
only problem with videolan is that i have to fully download the movie on her machine first. Otherwise i have stuttering problems over the 802.11g link.

if i may suggest ! 2 things are missing to videolan.

one is the lack of an aspect ratio override "a la" BSPlayer or Zoom.
Any chance you guys will implement this feature soon?
the other would be a brightness/contrast function..
i know one can go thru hoops to do it with the display adaper settings but an implementation at the player level would be great.
This would make Videolan a truly classy player.
There is a lot of Divx done by people who do not have a clue how to set the aspect ratio properly on an otherwise nicely encoded movie.
Thanks again for the good work
