Rotating movies.

Hello all,

This is probably as basic as it gets, but the answer is just not presenting itself to me.

I have taken several movies on my digital camera. Most are in horizontal but a few are in vertical. How do I rotate the image in VLC, apart from turning my laptop on its end?

Your question isn't that silly, I have pretty much the same question. Prior to reading this I was able to figure out how to rotate the video, works great on the PC, my question is how do I go about saving the vid in the new orientation? I would like to be able to rotate it, save it in the new oreintation and put on USB drive and watch on TV (family vacation vid).

Any help appreciated.

Use the dialogs for effects to rotate it.
