High Definition Screen Capture Problem

Postby Phaota » 14 Aug 2010 04:30

I am using Windows XP and version 1.1.2 of VLC. Whenever I take a picture of an HD video, it never comes out looking exactly like the crystal clear quality being shown in VLC. Instead, it becomes downgraded with pixelization and blurriness. Why? Please fix this issue. I would like to have the ability to take beautiful screen captures of scenes in HD movies and videos.

Use png captures, not JPEG ones. (known issue)

Thank you for the quick and very helpful reply. Yes, this worked perfectly, though jpg output showed also look just as clear. That is an issue which needs to be fixed.
