VLC with Mediacoder [a few Q's for U's]

Postby 123456789 » 21 Jul 2010 22:04

Hi just a few Q's.

1. When using with mediacoder is there a direct command to use with mediacoder. So that i can get it to speed up transcoding faster than real time play. Like as is done when converting vlc on it's own.

2. Subtitles don't get passed through. But as normal when use vlc i have to enable the embedded subtitles to show. Is there a command for dvbsubs (dvb not dvd) to be passed through.

3. Subtitle delay doesn't seem to work for dvbsubs in vlc, or they do but at a certain point they just shimmer then disapear. Trying to get a live subs commentry which has a lag to be in sync.

4. Mediacoder or vlc to do this, source file is dvb-t uk sd pal using vlc freetype font. Plays perfect in vlc when i activate the subtitle to show.

2. That is a bug that should be fixed in upcoming VLC 1.1.1
