mkv I have only tested, and the error does not occur with everyone, for example, with episodes of a tv show, 10 episodes, the crash, occurs with six of them, and always with them.Only MKV ?
with movies in mkv, I happened to all, in some immediately, others within seconds of startingOnly MKV ?
Tomorrow I can re-install version 1.1, you may need testing, with other formats, if you need that you send the crash reporter, tell me how I can do this, I have saved.Only MKV ?
Right now the iMac play everything without any problem with v.1.0.5 Goldeneye (Intel 32bit) so I think it's no problem of capacity of the team, but I can be wrong I'm no expert.Jean, I've been downloading the VLC source from git and compiling my own versions of VLC 64-bit on my 27" 2.8 GHz Quad Core i7 iMac for quite a few months now, and I never experience any of the problems that some Mac users are experiencing in this forum. That leads me to suspect that at least in some cases, their problems may possibly be attributed to trying to play a particular video file on an inadequate system. In other words, maybe their computer is simply too old and too slow. Maybe their graphics card isn't adequate. Maybe they don't have enough RAM or VRAM. Maybe they have too many other things running in the background while they are trying to watch a HD video. All I know is, I throw all kinds of files at VLC, including a lot of HD mkv's, and they play just fine. In a few rare cases, I will get the stuttering or slight pixelation, but in such a case, all I have to do is copy the video from the disc to my hard drive, and then it plays fine in VLC. Over all though, I have found VLC to be stable, tried and proven...and as I said, I use the bleeding-edge code from the git site, and I still don't have very many problems with VLC. So, in a word, this is why I suspect that a number of the problems that are being reported in this Macintosh forum are not with VLC itself, but rather with something in the user's setup or computer environment.
with the Version 1.0.5 Goldeneye (Intel 32bit) all formats play correctly, this afternoon will reinstall the 1.1.0 64Bit to check with other formats other than mkvI would love to know if this is only MKV or not and if it works in 32bits.

Hi, I reinstalled the version 1.1, I tested with several mpeg, and there has been no failure, I tried several avi, and the failure has occurred with one of them, and always the same, I tried to mkv , And fault with all; I have seen, or I have the impression, that in the mkv failure occurs when the audio track starts, since in some curtain is no sound input, and will get to see, but when the sound begins vlc crashes with the 1.0.5 version, I have no problems with any of the files.Thank you.with the Version 1.0.5 Goldeneye (Intel 32bit) all formats play correctly, this afternoon will reinstall the 1.1.0 64Bit to check with other formats other than mkvI would love to know if this is only MKV or not and if it works in 32bits.
