Streaming mpeg2 to Windows media Player

Postby lesismore » 17 Mar 2005 19:32

I've been trying to stream a mpeg2 video stream to windows media player, but media player displays an error, stating that it needs the mpgv codec. I've searched on the web and could not find this codec anywhere. Is this the codec that I need or can I use different codec. When I streaming a files my settings are MMSH, MPEG TS encapsulation, and video codec mp2v. Can someone tell me how I can do this. I need to be able to stream mpeg2 video to media player.

For WMP, I use DIV3 video codec, mp3 audio -- works well.
