I would like to stream a realtime video from my webcam to some .swf flash player like http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/
that is embedded on my webapage.
The problem is that i cannot make any .swf player working with any type of video stream from VLC.

Assuming you have the JWPlayer example working OK on your website
try this as an example output string (Windows)

When you downloaded JWP, it came in a folder called "mediaplayer"....Yes?
if not just go download it again, place the unziped folder "mediaplayer" in your root web directory
you can then run the example "readme.html" from yourwebrootdir/mediaplayer/readme.html... You have done this. Yes?
Check out the example code on that page, extract the section for the embedded player and modify it to suit as per JWP tutorial and my previous post. Then save it under a new "name.html" in that same dir IE.... /mediaplayer

I have found mp3 to be better at lower bitrates, and works with incomplete ffmpeg eg some linux distros
Especially in the latest 1.05 version where ab=32. mp4a sounds dire!

Anyway, it works now, but it's somehow strange.. It waits for about 2 minutes (?) before starting to play anything..
This is the output of the VLC client (Tools - Messages):
and after around 2-3 minutes, the video starts playing perfectly (with a delay, of course) and the messages (continued) show this:
Any way to solve this delay?
