I would like to stream some workshops through my university network. But I want to do the following: use a small PC box that I can carry across the campus so I can record workshops everywhere. Then I would connect the videocamera to this PC and with VLC (unicast mode) stream the movie to a central server. This central server would then stream the movie in multicast mode using VLC. If possible this server would also save the movie to a file so I can have a webpage containing the latest workshops available online.
Is this possible to achieve?
