Can VLS stream MP4 file(mpeg4 + aac)?

Postby webper » 15 Feb 2005 09:44

nowadays I'm trying to make streaming server system.

the streaming server should support mp4 type like the apple "QTSS"

before I found ffserver but ffserver is not enough to test service.

so I'm trying VLS.

is there any one who know how to stream mp4 file with VLS?

and if vls can't support mp4 type file, which part of vls module added?

unless you are streaming dvb sources, i advise that you use VLC as a streaming server. Documentation is available here : http://videolan.org/doc/streaming-howto/en/
