No video in .mkv videos

Postby schnorginator » 10 Dec 2009 05:16

I'm attempting to play some .mkv files in VLC, however I am running into issues. Audio plays fine but video does not display.

VLC messages gives me this when I try to play a video:

Code: Select all

dmo debug: ProcessInput(): not accepting dmo debug: ProcessOutput(): failed
I have installed CCCP but the issue still persists. I've attempted playing the .mkv file in VLC, Media Player Classic, and Windows Media Player but all are unsuccessful in playing .mkv videos (MPC and WMP do not play audio or video).

What can I do in order to play these .mkv videos?
I am running windows 7 (64 bit) if it helps diagnose my issue.

Post the full messages log with verbosity set to 2 and also post a short sample of a problematic file.
