start vlc on a specific position in full screen

hi
How can I start vlc from the commandline on an specific position(snd. screen, x=1281) in full screen mode and without displaying the title of the video(video.avi or sth.)?

by using ctrl+right arrow.. you can forward..
ctrl+left arrow .. rewind..
not much flexible control though..
moves you by atleast 5 sec. forward/backward
