VLC 1.0.2 is GOOD, but still NOT as good as VLC 1.0!

Sorry, I spoke too soon...VLC 1.0.2 still got some seeking problems as in VLC 1.0.1, VLC 1.0 is still the BEST!


I posted here viewtopic.php?f=14&t=64233 regarding playing FLV1 and VP6F (partially downloaded streamed clips) and I'm happy to report that VLC 1.0.2 solves all the problems and it's behaving like VLC 1.0 , thank you VLC team.

Hi j-b, Windows 7 X64 official 7600 RTM.

VLC 1.0 (Very Good, NO FLV1 and VP6F seeking problems)
VLC 1.0.1 (FLV1 and VP6F seeking problems)
VLC 1.0.2 (Very Good, still have some FLV1 and VP6F seeking problems as in VLC 1.0.1, but better than VLC 1.0.1 but NOT as good as VLC 1.0 (for FLV1 & VP6F), and also significant improvement in .wmv seeking, I have one problematic .wmv file (incomplete, not indexed properly) and previously ONLY SMPlayer/MPlayer could partially play/seek that video, but now VLC 1.0.2 can plays/seeks that video beautifully!

1.0.3 has broken something again with wmv and VP6F flv seeking (in Windows 7)- seeking through a wmv file produces multi coloured blocking distortion that eventually corrects itself after 2-3 seconds, and with some flv files if you seek VLC will just close, in 1.0.2 neither of these problems occur .
