Stream over HTTP and view it with plugin browser ?

Postby NeoKoD » 07 Jan 2004 02:45

Hi !

I want stream my webcam output over HTTP (with httpd inside vlc) and see the stream from anywhere with a simple web browser. Is it possible with a plugin like quicktime or realplayer ?

If yes, do you know how configure the "object"(or "embed") tag to do this ?

Thanks :)

Ok, with streaming out in RTSP we can play it with real/quicktime/director plugin, it's very interesting !

I have not found roadmap developpement of VLC, when VLC can be stream output int RTSP format ?

Thanks

Embedded Quick Time in your web page and open the .SDP page or use a rtsp server.

Return to “VLC stream-output (sout)”
