Video freezing/stucked. Need help badly

Hi,

I've got a major problem...
My video freezes every minute or 2 minutes or so... For about 3 - 5 seconds. The audio plays perfectly while the image freezes, after the freezing the picture is extremely pixelated of some sorts.
I don't have this problem using other MediaPlayers but I need VLC for some of the extensions (.mkv, .avi (for mac...))

All the Preferences are Default. Only had this problem recently with a new .vlc version (do not know wich precise version... It's about 3 - 4 weeks since it started) I have Mac OS X and could you tell my whole configuration but that has nothing to do with it. I've seen others on the internet with the same problem having Windows and Mac's with other configs...

PLEASE, PLEASE help me with this... Or say how I can get in contact with the VLC team because I see info on what to say and not to say them all around the --please stay polite-- site but as with many site.. The retarded webmaster seems to have forgotten to clearly state an e-mail address or SOMETHING at least...

Same thing here with VLC 1.0 on OS X.
