Cannot jump/skip/fastforward MPEG's correctly in 1.0.0 Win32

Postby Mannie » 15 Jul 2009 14:44

Hello,
WinXP win32 system
I'm not techie, so sorry for the lack of info. Will be happy to provide any if I'm prompted.
I cannot jump, skip, fast forward any of my MPEG vids. The image just freezes but the sound continues....
All other vids, with VLC1.0.0 seem ok.
They all worked fine with VLC 0.9.9 win32
Any ideas, apart from going back to older version?
THANKS
Richard

Remove the libmpeg2_plugin.dll in plugins/ folder.

Thanks for the quick response. So far so good. I've not tested it on every file, but I think it has resolved the problem. 10/10. Great work! Thanks for your input.

You could also try 1.1 Nightly builds (that would help us, to test)
