Postby black » 11 Jun 2009 02:38

hey again,

VLC-1.0.0-rc3, XP Pro-SP1a

1) VLC crash reporting dialog appears history.
2) No zoom crashes since 6/9/09...rc3 availability.
3) Cursor remains showing on windowed UI, but not in default qt-UI.
4) Not any skin (many tested incl default) w resizeable vout, will zoom w/o adding black bars to video, and additional UI size. Zoom anomalies persistant as posted > Skins/Released Skins section of forum...w details.

great

weird, cursor is not managed by the UI, but at the vout level.
They should behave the same way for both qt-UI and skins.

I did see a zoom problem with raptor skins when showing/hiding the playlist. The zoom is truncated (right part). This needs more investigation.
Also, some skins use minimum width and height for windows. In that case, zooming doesn't always perform as announced (osd text), but sticks to minimums. Additional black borders may then be needed to respect the aspect ratio. Also true for maximums.
