Saving a cda file

Postby Cynic » 05 Apr 2009 10:54

Windows XP Home using VLC 0.99.

Several years ago SKS on the forum gave me details on how to transcribe a cda file of a bird song on CDROM to a wav file on hard disk. Since then my version of VLC has been updated several times and those instructions are no longer valid because various window settings have changed. Can anyone please provide a new set of instructions? I have looked at the Wiki help sites but for my level of understanding they may as well be in Sanskrit.

Don't open a cda file, but open the Audio disk CD.
