Could you guys add support for www.themoviedb.org thetvdb.com for getting movie & tv info or movie & tv poster ect. they have a api and the it site is ment for project like this http://api.themoviedb.org/2.0/docs/ & http://thetvdb.com/wiki/index.php?title=Programmers_API

I'm going to assume that the reason that no one is commenting is because for one VLC isn't meant to be a media center, but also as commented on downloading subtitles automatically the rights of videos are the rights of the original producers therefore the legality is cloudy.

Legality is not cloudy, it is illegal in all countries supporting Nice and Madrid Treaties.
