How do I simply delay the audio track by 1 sec

And can I do this in such a way as to leave the video and audio unprocessed?

(I know how to do this in virtual dub, but I cannot get the mpeg ps files that are output from videolan to open in VD)

Is there somewhere in the help/faqs that tells me more about these things - I had a very good look, but didn't find them.
When/where/which screen should I be on to make these shortcuts work - and can they be part of the 'save' process so the file gets saved correctly, or are they just part of the 'play' process.

No! It is a muxing (encoding) issue.

This was a great feature! I use it a lot but when I tried to use it in the more recent versions it doesn't work anymore?
Those keyboard commands have been given other functions, so I have 2 questions:
1. Can anyone point me to a list of keyboard commands, like the crtl-k and ctrl-l? and,
2. What are the new keyboard commands to advance or delay the audio (to replace the ctrl-k and ctrl-l?)

I found it in the preferences.
Audio delay up is now plain old k instead of ctrl-k, and
Audio delay down is now j instead of ctrl-l

(Thought I'd post that for anyone finding this thread in a search like I did)

It's even easier now that I don't have to use the ctrl key ( but I'll have to get used to the reverse order).

I appreciate the help.
