DVB subtitles don't stay on

Postby red_lego_man » 19 Jan 2009 13:22

Hi,
I have successfully compiled VLC with the dvb options, and have it running quite nicely showing BBC News Channel, with subtitles.
However, it seems that at the end of every half hour, or at the end of every programme I suspect, the subtitles are switched off, presumably at the detection of some sort of signal from the transmission. This means I have to turn the subtitles back on every time this happens. Is there a way to force the subtitles to show all the time and not turn off?

If not, can I do it by modifiying the code then recompiling? If so, could someone point me in the direction of the right bit of code?
Thanks for listening

I guess that's a "no" then.
