Playing MP3s causes my .....

Postby theMezz » 14 Jan 2009 03:31

I use SECOND COPY and SynchToy2 and for backing up all my data.

I have a current good backuo of all my *.mp3 files

I play a few with VLC Player

Then when I run another backup.. any files I played are detected as changed by both SECOND COPY and SynchToy2 and backed up again.

Does VLC Player write to an MP3 it plays? Any way to stop this.. it slows down my backups.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Joe

No, VLC doesn't write anything to your files by default.
