Why is the Windows zip package bigger than the normal EXE?

Windows zip package 10MB

Windows EXE Package 6,9MB


NOrmally it is the other way around

It's because the installer maker program has better compression. Simple as that

you could use 7ZIP to compress the NON-EXE version. It offers a much better compression ratio than ZIP
