Crash when close, before video is at the end

Most of the time, when I want to close vlc-player while watching the video, the player does not close ...I have to force closing by using process-manager. When I watch the video till the end, there is no problem. I have no idea?

By the way: when I open a video by vlc-player, the video doesn´t start. Always neccessary to click "play" also. Can I change it somehow that it starts automatically?

What version of vlc are you using ?

0.9.6 ....and downloading 0.9.8a right now. will see if the problem remains ...it remains, but i have found the reason. It´s the skin!! when I use default-settings (= skin) it works properly.

Why skin is responssible to crash your vlc ?

Good question, but I have no idea. But it is a fact ...as I described above. The player works, but closing it before the vid is at its end, leads most of the time to a crash. With original skin it works fine.

I had this problem with the hx (dark version) skin and have just posted in the skin's dev section under the skins section....dont know if it is just a problem with the skins individually or with the skinned interface.....
