VLC: Blackscreen.

Hey when im opening anny movies. anny files / dvd whatever. i only get a blackscreen where the movie should be shown. why? and how to make it work.

Where do I find the "Disable Hardware acceleration" -button?

Go to:
Tools >> Preferences... >> Video

And untick "Accelerated video output". Press "Save" and try a video.

to this i say a big thank you this helped me out and yes i registered just to say this to you lol
How can I do it in VLC 1.1.11?
for this one you can just follow the same thing as Arite said since i just used it on VLC1.1.11
