Problems Applying Skins!!

Hello, first time here but a long time user of VLC! I've used this for...well, ever since I can remember. Recently, my Windows Media Player 11 decided not to play any file of any sort so I decided to give the good ol' VLC an update. Before, I had only really used it for movies and such but I have to rely on it for audio now too! Anyway, I just downloaded a skin of a Windows Media Player look a like, went to preferences and such, yadda yadda. When I attempted to apply the skin and close VLC out to start it back up to see the skin, it wouldn't open at all and just tell me to debug it with Visual Basic. Note, the media player will open great if no skin is added but it will totally crash if I apply a skin. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been up all night trying to fix WMP and get this to work too!!

Skins are very much broken in 0.9.4.

Ahh, I see. Thank you very much. So, what is it that everyone's doing then? Staying with an older version for the skins or waiting for the new version to be good with skins?
