Unwanted Control panel during fullscreen

Postby pandacz » 02 Oct 2008 21:21

Hi,
I have just installed a new version of my favourite player VLC 0.9.2.
During fullscreen mode of an .avi file a control panel blinks at the bottom of the screen (over the running film) :( .
Can you advise me how to switch it off (hide constantly till a move my mouse or keyboard)?
Thank you

Same is happening here. I regret that this happens, because I enjoy using my mouse to track forwards or backwards during videos. A temporary solution or workaround would be to uncheck "Show a controller in fullscreen" in the preferences menu.

You can deactivate the showing of the the controller in fullscreen mode under:
preferences/interfaces/main interface/qt-interface

You can disable it completely as tomkar said, however that is a known bug and is fixed in 0.9.3+.

I find the easiest way is to grab the control panel by the top left corner, then track it off the bottom right corner of the screen. This will leave only one pixel showing. It's easy to grab that one pixel and drag it out again when you need it.

This is fixed, you'll just have to wait for the next windows binary release sometime around a few days or so.
