include libVLC

Hello,

i'm not shure if I am in the right topic - so tell me if I am wrong.

I want to use vlc-Player to play several mp3s in a c++ project.
Because I am a beginner and it's my first Project under Windows, I don't know at all how I have to include a dll or lib etc. to use the API.

Can somebody tell me in few steps how I can start?
