BTW what version of VLC, what Mac are you running, what version of Leopard are you running.

looks the same as it does in tiger other then the last picture everything looks cut. but this sounds more like a gripe more so then a issue, join the crowd of people with gripes about VLC. most of them are taken with a grain of salt.

VLC worl fine for me in tiger and leopard, sept for a few things

Yes a nice small well laid out window, how terrible!

Dont understand what the problem is, looks like the screen grab is of the experimental 0.9 builds because of the playlist stuff.
Did you ever try the latest stable build at the top of this page http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html ?
