BUG with subtitle

Hii !

I've found a small bug in vlc 8.6f

When I watch a movie and I add a subtitle file with drag and drop I can't pause after.

If i make " pause " the movie don't stop.

Yeah, same here. You open a movie and you drag the subtitle file onto the player. The subtitle shows up with the video alright. But the Play/Pause button stops working. This bug was found in VLC 0.8.6h. Please fix this.

That's right, I got the same 'bug'. Is it possible that you fix it because drag and drop subtitles is very useful and I'd like to use it. Thanks you.

im also having the same problem earlier
please follow these steps to solve the problem

1.rename your srt file (subtitle file) same as the video file name and at the end type .srt

2. then u didn't want drag the subtitle file to when u play the film automatically subtitle will appear when u play the film.
and u can pause it.

Podikotte87, no offence, but are you some kind of ill? We've describe bug here which is known for years (I found a lots of thread about it). It is only funny that developers are ignoring it. They do not even confirm the bug!
And You come up with 2 steps how to not using drag & drop for subtitles. Well, thanks for help!
