-vvv option not described in help files

Postby rjamesd » 19 May 2008 12:21

Can't see this option described in the help file that vlc generates with vlc -h nor can I see it documented on this website.

Where can I get an explanation of -vvv ?

Thanks.

-vvv just increases the verbosity of the output that VLC generates when run. You can also supply -v3 which seems function the same as -vvv. It's listed in the vlc -h as "-v, --verbose <integer> Verbosity (0,1,2)"

Return to “VLC stream-output (sout)”
