Two questions

Postby Metshrine » 13 Mar 2008 10:44

I have two quick questions that I cant seem to figure out about VLC.

1. How do you set VLC to remain "Always on top"?

2. How do you setup a hotkey for the "Quick open file" function?

Thanks for your help!

hi

1) Menu "Video", "Always on top" (option fullscreen=1 in the preference file)

2) you have Ctrl+o and can configure your own shortcut in the pref file

your preference file is here : C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\vlc

How does one make these hotkeys global? Having to focus VLC everytime I want to fast forward, open files, quit the app is a pain in the butt.
