MMSH no audio?

Postby rv888 » 28 Feb 2008 18:55

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out why MMSH muxed to ASF has no audio. Is there something I need to enable in order for this to happen? If I switch the access type to http and another container, it'll work.

Just curious.

Thanks!

What is the audio codec ?

Can you explain a bit more what you are doing ? Because I don't get the problem...

I'm trying to vcodec to WMV2, acodec to mp3 , access to mmsh, mux to asfh

If I open this from home using VLC I get audio and video. But unfortunately I can only use Windows Media player at work. So when I open the same stream via Windows Media player, I get video but no audio.

Code: Select all

#transcode{vcodec=WMV2,vb=256,deinterlace,scale=1,acodec=mp3,ab=32,channels=1,samplerate=44100}:standard{access=mmsh,mux=asfh,dst=0.0.0.0:8080}

I take that back. MMSH doesn't play audio for either player. It was playing audio earlier using access=http. It seems mmsh is muted for some reason. Any ideas?
