Streaming TV

Postby D-to » 31 Oct 2007 11:13

I managed to install VLC player. My ISP is providing several TV channels through an internet page. According to a friend of mine VLC is the best player for this purpose. Now the problem is that I don’t have sound but the picture is fine. Please advise.

We might need some more information for this issue.

Like: what URLs are you trying to access? A log file from vlc -vvv might also be quiet helpful in this case (maybe they use an unsupported codec?)

Thank you for the info when i finish work I'll post the log export. I doubt you will be able to access this site because it is only for Bulgarian users and for authorized ISPs. In case you need any other outputs please send me the command lines and I'll provide you with all the information you need.

I thing that problem is with audiocodec. I will try to help, but I need more info about IPTV operator and Your linux distro. Is Your vlc compiled from source or You are using distro repository?
