Impossible. VLC only uses it own codecs (excluding possibility for WMV DMO).how can i set vlc to use my installed codecs?
Yes - VLC doesn't use external codec packs as it uses its own libraries instead.Impossible. VLC only uses it own codecs (excluding possibility for WMV DMO).how can i set vlc to use my installed codecs?
As j-b said, if you, when (trying?) to play the file in VLC, press "Ctrl + I" and click on the "Advanced information" tab, then you should be able to see what Video/Audio codecs are being used. Without knowing the codecs then no one can give codec-specific support.Give us the codec type ( Ctrl+I)
