streaming from dreambox to osx

streaming from dreambox 500 or 7000 works in windows and linux, but not allways on the mac. its rare it works on the mac. I can even load parallels and run windows vlc from there and have it work, so I cant see it being a hardware issue.

any tips ?

I tried all the windows/linux tips of streamout advanced

check all checkbox's and chain 'ALL'
