You can use Subtitle Workshop for editing or fixing subtitles. It's a free powerful tool you can find on almost every decent codec site.

Subtitle Delay

Postby marcusiyah » 23 Jun 2007 11:39

Greetings,

Hopefully someone can help me with my problem. I am using a Mac OS X version 10.3.9. I am running VLC Version 0.8.6c. I am having problems with the subtitle file. I load everything properly, but the subs display about 8 seconds too fast...They are about 8 seconds ahead of the video file.
How can I slow the sub files down?

Thanks for your help.

Look in the hotkeys preferences to check.
