Can are you add subtitles with <.a s s> (Censorship has not allowed to write normally) extension to automatic loading?
<.a s s> almost the same as .ssa

<.a s s> - advanced SubStation alpha
.ssa - SubStation alpha

Yes.

We have a Summer of Code project to include the complete ASS subtitles in VLC, not just some of the specification as now.
