You can do it fairly easily but for best results can you pick a movie you
have received from your satellite.
Coolstf.com has TSReader Lite you can download for free and it will tell you
information of the streams you can get from your sat receiver. Important
is whether or not the stream is Dolby. The rate is also helpfull.
Most DVDs have audio in Dolby, but your receiver may not play Dolby audio.
Many FTA receivers don't play, for instance the USA PBS broadcasts, without
an external DOLBY decoder connected through the SPDIF port.
In VLC don't use the wizard use File Open Disc method.
