Indeed, I forgot the last slash and the Xserve cannot handle that correctly.Ok, you meant this URL : http://xserve.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/macosx/
this is a known problem. We unfortunately have been unable to find a fix (it only happens on windows but not on linux while we use the same interface for both ...)Opening the extended GUI (either from the menu or ctrl+g) when playing back a video shows weird garbage on the video. See here for a screenshot of my problem (note that the screenshot didn't capture the video itself, as it shows up in black). If I minimize the player then maximize it, the garbage disappears. If I pause it still stays. If I close the extended GUI, it goes away. It happens whether I have the image adjust filter on or off and regardless of what video file I use. Don't think anyone else has mentioned this yet.
The reason I mentioned it was because I didn't see a bug filed for it. If it's a known problem, shouldn't we file a bug for it so that future people like me don't complain about it and the developers have it on their todo list to fix? (This is assuming that there isn't a bug already filed for it and I just couldn't find it. If that's the case, please correct me.)this is a known problem. We unfortunately have been unable to find a fix (it only happens on windows but not on linux while we use the same interface for both ...)
It's maybe a hostname issue, check the ServerName setting in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf or change marchine's hostname with /etc/hostconfigIndeed, I forgot the last slash and the Xserve cannot handle that probably.Ok, you meant this URL : http://xserve.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/macosx/
