Cover art embedded in radiostream doesn't display

VLC displays embedded cover art or enclosed cover art files just fine for audio files.
However when streaming, this doesn't seem to work.
Here's a stream that shows cover art when using foobar2000, but doesn't in VLC:

Is this probably a configuration problem on my side or does this happen for everyone?
