Can't play stream on a Windows 7 PC

Postby droopyvlc » 24 May 2010 18:55

Hi,

I have a little problem. I have 2 computers with Windows 7 on each. I can play RTP stream on one but not on the other (with the same wire). I think I miss something in the config but can't find what (I switched off my firewall).

The messages are:

All seems OK but no video and no sound :(
Any idea?

Thanks for your help!

Removal of %appdata%\vlc folder helps? Does the other computer have two or more NICs?

I will try this tonight. My PC has 2 NICs but the symptom is the same with one disabled.

I'm the only one to have this problem?

It would be helpful if you would post the comand line being used and the details of the 2 systems you are using.
I get the same log and inability to play with vlc rtp://@232.0.1.29:8200 on my W7-64bit system so it looks like there is no stream being sent. What system are you getting the stream on?

I'm using the user interface of VLC, no command lines... How I can find this?

Do you know what's this line in debug means?
"main debug: no meta reader module matching "any" could be loaded"
