I think that's what I said. This isn't a bug, It's a known issue with an easy resolve. Exists only in the Windows version for VLC 0.8.5

okey but why doesn't vlc select it buy defult? 0.8.2 did.

The default for the Latin 1 character set (ISO-8859-1) in Windows should never have been changed. It wasn't for the Mac version. The system was expanded for 0.8.5 to handle more languages, but there are still problems with Hebrew and Arabic. :) Even this according to a few users is resolvable by us...

I have a problem with the subtitles. I run a movie then klick add subtile (track 1) then the subtitle doesen't show.
