How can I expand the left side of the playlist?

How can I expand the left side of the playlist?

Pic related. Found https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=126185 but didn't help much. I don't wanna split the window into two. So is there a way? I never use that left side anyways except for the image/video there.

I'm running VLC 3.0.0 and the "rejected" link appears to be broken. What is it that I need to do?
