Hello,
BelgacomTV in Belgium does stream TV using PAFF interlacing.
Could anyone explain (or give the link to a site that does) how to modify VLC to use coreAVC instead of ffmpeg ?

How do you know this and what is RV40 ?
The RV40 is the codec for RealVideo9, a format that many have been wanting VLC to support for a long time now. 
The latest nightly builds are always updated with the latest FFmpeg available.Re: coreAVC instead of ffmpeg
